Back in 2009 I wanted to showcase female athletes and produced the first ever ‘all women ski movie. It was an insane step, yet it felt so natural and led my way into the filmmaking industry. I discovered a new passion and creativity and since then, I repeatedly took on the double role of filmmaker and athlete. I would never have believed it could grow into such an amazing brand, being one of the biggest freeski film productions to date and that it would grow such incredible partnerships and lifelong friendships, especially with my co-stars like Julia Mancuso, Viktoria Rebensburg or Carissa Moore. I love the work behind the cameras as much as I love skiing and combining both is what feeds my passion.

Under the name Shades of Winter, I’ve produced and directed several action sports films for and in collaboration with Red Bull Media House and brands such as BMW, Peak Performance, Fischersports, Völkl and more. I have led and managed productions in Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Scandinavia, Japan, South America, New Zealand, and the Alps. Besides the multiple awarded, globally distributed ‘Shades of Winter’ films, I have produced and directed a documentary for Servus TV, and I’m currently working on a new mountain documentary in Norway. Presently I’m also leading the Second Unit for the new Superfilm production ‘School of Champions’, a fictional TV series, co-produced for ORF, SFR and BR, signing responsible for all ski action scenes.
